So I went on a road trip from Friday to Monday. I took somewhere around 150 photos. I could have taken more, but I was too busy looking at things with my own eyes rather than the lens.

The point of the trip was to visit Ardmore, South Dakota. And explore the heck out of it. Which we pretty much did. Old cars, sheds, houses, a bank, general store, garage, and everything and old small town in the middle of the desert would have. I took a few photos. And I will proceed to submit the the select two or three I approve of here.

So I'm back for now.

Well, I found a deal sooner than I expected. I ended up buying a Nikon D90 last weekend. Once I get a memory card that holds more than a few pictures on it, hopefully I'll be submitting some decent photos.

A DSLR is a lot to learn.. And I just have a basic 18-105 lens for now. But.. I'm sort of back.

I'm leaving tomorrow (Friday) to go up to my time share for a week. So. Maybe I'll get some nice photos, it's really pretty up there.

I actually went to the zoo and conservatory not too long ago and took a bunch of pictures. I got back, looked at them and didn't like a single one. I dunno what my problem is.

Anyway, wish me luck in finding an awesome shot sometime in the next week.

Oh, I'm also thinking about getting a new camera. Not that I haven't wanted one for years, I'm just considering making the purchase soon. A Nikon DSLR.. Just dunno which one yet.

Does anyone still like me?

So I haven't had any inspiration for photography in forever. And I haven't traveled outside of the Twin Cities forever. And I have a lame camera.

Not that I'm making excuses, it's just the way it's been.

But I have a few pictures now, and I've already submitted one of them.

Man, I wish I had more feedback on my work, I never know if I'm taking it in the right direction or not..
